The establishment of our company dates back to 2014. Our factory here has 28 employees. It was put into service with its official opening in May 2016. While our number of personnel was 11 in 2021, it has increased 33 times to 360. Even during the epidemic, new products were put into operation by employing approximately 100 personnel. The majority of our engineers, administrative and technicians are from Sivas. Our average is 28. Since our start of operation, the mass production of over 300 optical units supplied from abroad has been increasing continuously over the years. Currently, 700,000 different electro-optical devices, lenses, filters, etc. are produced in our factory. Many of these items were produced by us and exported abroad by Aselsan. Especially within the scope of the Commando Modernization Project, over 150,000 electro-optical devices were delivered to our National Rifles within the scope of this project alone, including over 60,000 infantry scopes, over 60,000 reflex sights, over 30,000 night vision devices, and nearly 3,000 Sniper Scopes. The end-user return rate of these products is low, around 0.04. This important success is the work of you, my valued colleagues, who work day and night.
While producing hundreds of thousands of optical units and electro-optical devices that I just mentioned, in a short period of 6 years, day and night, We struggled with technical problems and worked hard with our quality processes. As a result, we could not fully complete our administrative processes. For example, although our processes such as performance management, standard staffing and career paths exist, they are not fully established. As of September 2021, performance management studies have been carried out with our Baltaş company, where Aselsan also works, and Aselsan Corporate Management Deputy General Manager, and Norm Staff and Career Paths studies have been carried out since the beginning of this year.
