Established on 28 May 2016 in line with ASELSAN’s vision for advanced technology and strategic self-reliance, ASELSAN Sivas was founded to develop and manufacture critical electro-optical systems and optical components for the defence industry through national capabilities.

As a strategic centre supporting ASELSAN’s technological and engineering excellence from the heart of Anatolia, ASELSAN Sivas plays a key role in the development and production of critical electro-optical technologies required by Türkiye’s defence and security ecosystem.

The company conducts serial production of more than 100 products, including Electro-Optical Systems, Tactical Electro-Optical Systems, Platform-Integrated Electro-Optical Systems, and Optical Test & Measurement Systems.

Having successfully delivered hundreds of thousands of electro-optical systems to the Turkish Armed Forces and security agencies, ASELSAN Sivas stands out not only as a manufacturing facility but also as an engineering and design centre focused on next-generation technologies. The Driver and Gunner Assistance Systems (SADAS) product family is among the notable outcomes of these capabilities.

While contributing to Türkiye’s localization and indigenization objectives in defence technologies, ASELSAN Sivas also plays a pioneering role in fostering a high-technology ecosystem across Anatolia. Through initiatives aimed at enhancing supplier capabilities, supporting new industrial ventures, and strengthening a sustainable manufacturing base, the company continues to contribute to the economic development of Sivas and the surrounding region.
